Seven stringer Ed Acquesta sent us this great photo with his Benedetto "Bucky Pizzarelli" model. While the model is no longer in current production, BG will offer a BRAVO 7 this summer.
Stay, as they say, tuned!

SAM, GET YOUR BENNY
We are delighted to have Sam Walker, one of Dallas' top players, own a BENNY! Purchased through Van Hoose Instruments, Sam was on his way to play "Annie Get Your Gun" (seriously, note the great hat!) when this photo was taken by good friend Gary Brunner. ;-)
Per Gary, "Sam is one of the brightest stars around the Metroplex."
He has a great profile on myspace.com so check him out.
Welcome to the BG Family, Sam! ;-)

JERSEY BOYS
I love this photo. Taken at the Pizzarellis home in Bergen County, NJ, in 1995, it's the perfect pic for our 30th Anniversary with guitar great Bucky Pizzarelli.
Bob made Bucky his first Benedetto back in 1978---hard to believe that was 3 decades ago. And he's still playing as much, and as great, as ever. We love you, Bucky! :-)

CIAO BAMBINO
Grazie to world-class Italian guitarist Mauro DeFedericis for this wonderful photo after just purchasing our BAMBINO model from Italy's Citta Della Musica store.
One of Italy's busiest players, Mauro's credits include performances with well-respected musicians and orchestras as well as international tours, jazz festivals, Italian TV and radio. Plus, he teaches theory, solfeggio and guitar at two conservatories. We are proud to have him now performing with a Benedetto!
"This is my dream. Bambino guitar is a great instrument...thanks for the great sound, and modern design throughout..."
Prego, Mauro! :-)

THE BOLD, THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE BAMBINO!
| |
Ok, so I'm going to name-drop big-time today...we are thrilled that Mike Minnis, Head writer for the soap "The Bold & The Beautiful" just hadda have a BAMBINO DELUXE at last weekend's Dallas Guitar Show extravaganza. We hear through the proverbial grapevine that he might even write it into one of the story lines...how cool is that?! Thanks to Tom Van Hoose, our long-time friend and new dealer in Dallas, TX, shown here with Mike. (and to Tom's Associate Gary Brunner who said "MIke will strum the Benedetto praises in Austin." (that other cool TX town... ) "Sounds" like music to our ears!
Speaking of name-dropping, while we're on a roll...while we don't have a photo (yet), we are also very excited to have internationally famed Restauranteur/ Chef Dean Fearing playing our Tibetan Red BAMBINO! (perhaps the color inspired him!) Dean has just opened a swank new restaurant in the new Dallas Ritz-Carlton per Gary Brunner. :-)
