We are putting together a spectacular week of jazz guitar in historic Savannah, GA. Guests will stay in one of our most beautiful and luxurious Historic Inns (The President's Quarters**) Wednesday through Saturday Night.&nbs! p; The entire Inn will be dedicated to Benedetto guests.
Each morning (Thursday - Saturday) we will transport participants to the Benedetto Factory for private tours, workshops with Bob Benedetto, Howard Paul and Evan Ellis (Production Manager) on topics including: archtop construction; laminated guitar production; selecting the right archtop; feedback control; and archtop setup for the player. You will have an opportunity to sample all of our models (including Bob's Boutique guitars) and participants can receive special discounts. If you would like to place an order for a one-of-a-kind custom instrument, you can plan your guitar directly with Bob Benedetto and select woods from our inventory.
Each afternoon (Thursday - Saturday) guests will be transported back to the Inn for a combination of small group workshops, jam sessions, an! d private one-on-one lessons with Benedetto Players HOWARD ALDEN, JACK WILKINS, BARRY GREENE & CLINT STRONG.*** We will ensure each participant gets a minimum of a one-hour lesson from three of the four Players (first come, first serve).
Early evening (Thursday - Saturday) Benedetto Players will conduct a private recital and wine reception for participants in the Courtyard of the Inn.
Wednesday Evening, we'll provide transportation to The Savannah Jazz Festival Southside Concert at Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Thursday - Saturday Night, walk from your historic hotel to the beautiful Forsyth Park venue of the Savannah Jazz Festival. We'll provide you with a camp chair and a bottle of Miner Family Vineyards Wine to take with you. (On Saturday night, we will enjoy a catered Picnic In The Park at the Festival.)
Total Cost: $2,500.00 per person
