MAHOGANY MODE
|
|
The gorgeous clean mahogany back (with our classy contoured tummy-cut) on our beautiful new BENNY One-off S1917 (see "A Benny for your Thoughts" below), headed to DHR Music!

A BENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS
|
|
Here is a really unique and amazingly playable BENNY One-off destined for our Boutique.
Curly Bubinga and Birdseye Maple, ultralight (6 1/4 lbs.) with an almost three dimensional top, beautiful clean mahogany body and neck, with a birds-eye-popping contrast between the warm and wavy Bubinga and the Maple.
This guitar ought to weigh about 12 lbs., but we have carved the top (convex and concave) and increased the chambering in the body. But you'll still get a killer blues, rock or jazz sound with our Benedetto A-6 pickups, Tonepros tailpiece, and 25" neck scale. (Serial #S1917)
Remember the last one we pre-viewed for the Boutique? The Sweet Tea Ben-Bino? It was GONE in six hours. So don't let this one escape. Contact hpaul@benedettoguitars.com (Just a thought... :-) )

GYPSY OR GYPSY ELITE?
|
|
New Gypsy Model and our one-off Gypsy Elite Side-by-side.
These new guitars offer amazing Benedetto traditional archtop guitar craftsmanship - X-bracing, ebony bridge, cello-style tailpiece, and 25" scale. But Bob has given them a Gypsy voice and Bohemian vibe.
The Elite is available on Bob's Boutique (free shipping if you purchase now), and you can purchase this very first production model Gypsy by contacting Howard at hpaul@benedettoguitars.com to locate it through a dealer. Or call us for a personal description right over the telephone!

OUR SWEET ANDY ELITE!
|
|
Speaking of sweet things lately...
Yup, Andy Elite (aka Andrew) is back. Twice we have made our very popular (and back ordered!) Andy 3/4 size travel jazz guitar using La Venezia-grade materials handcrafted into a perfect little mini-flagship. :-)
Both times the guitars were scooped up by savvy and incredibly lucky guitarists who are still completely smitten with our littlest Benedetto.
And so, we are now working on ANDREW III, this time with our delicious Autumnburst finish. Here is a sneak peek of Bob showing off Andrew III in the spray room. We strongly recommend that you get your order for this guy in asap. There is even time to personalize the tailpiece with your name (as long as it's not too long...your name that is!)...
(Bob with #S1928 in Finish today 6-8-10).

It certainly helps that every one of our luthiers is also a musician! :-)

SWEET TEA? SOLD! Now that's Sweet!! :-)
|
|
As a 4-year "Savannahian" this is a question I've come to love, particularly as the weather heats up.
And "Sweet Tea" is precisely the color of this warm and almost-Autumnburst finish...and it's been applied to a very cool BENNY One-off...(yes, those are Bambino like soundholes!) hmmmm...a Ben-bino?
Curly maple top plus a mahogany body & neck. "I love the natural mahogany look" enthuses Evan Ellis, BG's Production Manager Extraordinaire, adding "And you won't believe how light it is!"
It's coming to Bob's Boutique by early next week but 'y'all' can always email me at cbenedetto@benedettoguitars.com if you want it for your own!
Life is just a whole lot sweeter with Sweet Tea. :-)
