As we've often said, guitar shows (like NAMM shows!) are like Reunions...Left: Gordon Roberts (barely!), Bill Banks, and Danny McKnight (the latter are two long-time Benedetto players) listen (attentively!) to Howard as he demonstrates our BRAVO model at a "Benedetto" Party at the home of Tom & June Van Hoose, the Saturday evening of the TX show. Thanks for the hospitality, June & Tom!

ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE
We just love this photo of Texas Guitar Great (TGG) Clint Strong with one of our BAMBINO DELUXE models at the world-class Dallas International Guitar Festival last weekend, at Tom Van Hoose's booth (the long reigning king of Archtops in Texas!)
More photos tomorrow, I promise! ;-)
p.s. Per Gary Brunner: "See what a Benedetto can do for your mood!! Benedetto is the signature of jazz guitar…here is the face of jazz guitar!"

SHOWTIME IN THE SUNSHINE STATE
The first annual Newport Guitar Festival in lovely Miami Beach, Florida last weekend was a great show for BG. Many thanks to Henry, Claudia and Andy for all their hard work!!
Left: Michael Rabiner, Bob, Howard and Dale Rabiner of DHR Music in Cincinnati pose for the requisite Cindy photo...(if you have good eyesight, you will see Howard and Bob's ubiquitous espresso cups).
Right: Bob and Dale flank new BAMBINO owner Kevin Doolittle of Miami. Thanks, Kevin! ;-)

THE PRODUCERS!
As we've often said, Savannah's cultural (and business) community have been very supportive of Benedetto Guitars.
Left: Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD)'s film makers Hudson Haines and Lindsay Graham (to the right of Howard) on a tour of BG wtih Producer Katie Kistler and famed Movie Producer Andy Meyers (shown at right with Howard). They came by to discuss an advertisement film they would like to produce on Benedetto Guitars. Thank you! ;-)

FEELS SO GOOD
I swear we didn't pay former New Jersey (now Milford, Pennsylvania) guitarist (and dear "old" friend) Joe Guerra to take this photo... but we love it! :-)
In addition to this 7-String, Joe owns the 4th archtop Bob ever made, way back in 1973!

HE'S SO EN-GAGEING :-)
As many of you know, we are close friends with Dave & Emily of Miner Family Vineyards. Today, their Tasting Room Manager Extraordinaire Steve Gage came by for a BG Tour, with his good friend Peter Lilly. They particularly liked some of the custom guitars in the Finish Room (including the very cool exotic wood BENNY). Truth be told, they were also here for the Masters Golf "Thing" ;-)
Right: Our Production Manger Evan Ellis handed Steve this beautiful back and told him to tell Dave Miner he wanted it as a Bonus! :-) (just kidding, Dave...sorta!)

ONE YEAR LATER...AGAIN!
We are thrilled to announce another BGer's One Year Anniversary - this time for Brad McNeely, who works in White Wood and binds f-holes and fingerboards (with great precision!), slots fingerboards, and a lot more!
Brad, we are so glad you work at BG!
:-)

AND AGAIN!
We have yet another One Year Anniversary at BG - this time for Noah Marable (our Resident Comic)... Noah binds bodies (lots!) at the bench next to Brad... and he even wore the right shirt for this photo!
;-) Congratulations and thanks for all you do, Noah!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES
We are happy to celebrate another BGer's One Year Anniversary!
Robert Gonzales, holding a BENNY (and shown with Howard, Evan and Bob!) works in the Finish Dept.
Happy Anniversary, Robert! ;-)

BEYOND THE SEA
Tomm Stanley, who lives in Dubai, sent this photo of himself with his early Benedetto #1277 (a 17" Birdseye Maple guitar, made in 1977)... Per Tomm, "your old acquaintance in a new home. Thanks for creating it."
Thank you for sending Tomm... Beautiful photo! ;-)

ANDREAS OBERG WITH ROB GIBSON

Savannah's Charles H. Morris Center was a spectacular venue for Andreas' Debut at the Savannah Music Festival Thursday, April 3rd. (unfortunately, my little camera didn't "capture" it, at left)
Right: Andreas, post concert with the SMF's Executive Director Extraordinaire Rob Gibson. (Thanks, Rob, for all you do for music in Savannah! ;-) )
OOPS!!! 4-7-08: BELATED THANKS TO MINER FAMILY VINEYARDS FOR SPONSORING THIS CONCERT - ALWAYS APPRECIATED, DAVE & EMILY!
